Tis the season to be jolly and make your own homemade glitter and snow!!!
Today's share will be more about process than final results, getting hands on, messy, and joyful.  Making your own stuff, rather than running to the craftstore whenever you need to embellish your masterpieces. Sharing pics with you of my super fun adventures making my own stuff, rather than running to the craft store always.

Homemade glitter was made by placing ornaments in a baggie and smashing with a hammer.
The "glitter" was glued to the soda can tree and the tickets with Scotch quick dry adhesive.

And now for the snow . . .

to make a little snowman with a Cricut Stencil (Joys of the Season Cartridge,Expression2)

Snow is glued with Scotch Adhesive.

 

All ready for you to add his hat,  scarf , limbs and features.

How simple was that.  Think of all the nice projects you will make with your handmade snow and glitter.  The kids will have good times with this too. .

P.S. A little bonus idea for you.  Cut off the bottom of a soda can (exacto knife and scissors) to make your very own ornament.  Decorate it with your homemade glitter and snow of course. You can even use the top from one of your smashed ornaments.  XOXOXO
