Hi Everyone, This is Erika from http://www.ekittyscraps.blogspot.com/. Today I would like to share with you my layout entitled "The Red Shoes". This layout is a part of a Wedding Scrapbook I am making for my Stepson Michael and his new Bride Claire for their first wedding anniversary. They had interesting wedding colors of Champagne and of course Red!
Here is a sneak peak of the Red Cricut Shoe:
My first step was to cut out the Red Shoes using the Wedding/Marriage cartridge and cut 2 shoes at 4.5 inches and 2 shoes at 2 inches. I also cut this in black to make a shadow image behind the shoe. This image also seemed to match perfectly with the Bride and Maid of Honor's shoes.
I used my Martha Stewart punch and punched a scallop border across the top and bottom of my paper and adhered the paper to my gold paper background. I cut out gold and black frames for my pictures using Coredinations paper. Black frames are always good to use with formal pictures.
After adhering my pictures to the LO, I cut the words "The Red Shoes" using my Cursive 101 cartridge on 1.5 inches. I wanted these words to be seperated so I did not use my gypsy this time.
I attached the words and a K & C wedding journaling tag with gray organza ribbon to my LO. I added several Floral Cream Velvet Hydrangeas from Petaloo to my LO for a more wedding/formal look. I also added some gold bling to the red cricut shoes.
I really enjoyed making this LO and I hope you liked it too. I hope to show you more from the Wedding Scrapbook in the future. Have a good day and if you have any questions, please leave me a comment. Thanks!
