Greeting Everyone ! Pat Roller here to share a special altered project I made recently.

I purchased the mannequin online. Then, I painted it with Tim Holtz paints and other paints I had on hand. I also used glitter paints in parts to give it a little bling. I am not as good as Barbara but love the colors.

Then, I embellished the mannequin with the following cuts:

wings--2 inches --from A Child's Year

roses--2 inches--from A Child's Year

"Joy"--2 inches from A Child's Year

cross--4 inches--from New Testament

heart--3 inches--from Botanicals

tuilps--3 inches--from Botanicals

I used brads attached with clear glue into a hole I punched in the mannequin with my "pointy thing" I attached ribbons to the brads and attached the charms to the bottom of the ribbons.

I also used 2 stick pins I received from the stick pin swap that had similar colors of beads. The lace is hand tatted--I did it myself :)  Then, I added gems and buttons to round out the decorations.

The mannequin graces a decorative shelf that is in my entryway.  Hope you enjoy her !

  4. I really like this Pat. Maybe because you're new it's not too "junky". And I mean that in the most craftiest way. There are some where there's so much going on I get lost. Of course, I shouldn't blame the artist for my lack of brain cells -- LOL
