Very Merry Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone!  This is Erika from www.EKittyscraps.blogspot.com.  Today I decided to share with you some Christmas cards I made using the Very Merry Tags cartridge.  The tags on this cart are so cute and can be used not only for tags but also on cards and christmas decorations.
On my first card I used red carstock 5x7" for my card base and cut red mistletoe paper and Colorbok retro star paper and adhered to the red cardstock.  I then got out my cuttlebug and brown felt and cut out two reindeer from the Tim Holtz Alterations die using just my two B plates on the cuttlebug.

Next I stamped my Christmas carol stamp using Ranger Black Archival Ink onto Coredinations Pearls cardstock. I just love this stamp.
I inked the edges of my cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and adhered to card.
I then pop dotted my reindeer and added to my card along with the red snowflake from my ornament tag cut from Very Merry Tags.  I added a green flower from the Michael's dollar bin to the center of the snowflake.  I added a red plaid ribbon to the bottom of my card,  stamped my Merry Christmas sentiment in red ink and added to my card.  Here is the finished card.

My second card has both red and green mistletoe paper and the Christmas Carol stamp in the background.  I used the Very Merry Tags cartridge and cut out the Santa and Ornament tags at 2.5 inches.  I used the Swirls folder on the Cuttlebug for Santa's beard, mustache and cap.
I then added Glossy Accents and Martha Stewart white Holographic glitter to Santa's beard, mustache, cap and to the white snowflake on the ornament.  I also added some MS white star holographic glitter to the ornament.  I know this is hard to see in the photos but the holographic glitter is pretty cool stuff.

Here is the second card.  I hope you like it.

Here are the two cards together.

I would like to wish everyone "Happy Holidays" and I will see you next year!
