Hi Everyone! It's Colleen from Col's Creative Corner and today is my first post for the new year here on our FANatic's blog! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and that the New Year brings much happiness, prosperity, and good health to all! Today I am sharing a Valentine that I made for my sweet hubby! I have been using my stash, and found some cool pink glitter cardstock that was sitting unused for ages, so I decided to put it to good use.
The cuts are all from Love Struck. The word Kiss has no layers, so I created some using my Gypsy.
.
In the picture above, it shows how I used the Hide Contour feature to create the layers. The first image shows how the word looks when I placed it on the mat, The three images after it shows how I hid the contours to create the layers. I cut the word, Kiss and the lips using some black and red foil paper that I had been saving.
The stamp is one of my favorites from The Greeting Farm. It is from the Cheeky Cherry Collection and she is the Cheeky Rockabilly Girl. I colored her using copic markers.
I'm not one for making New Year's resolutions, but I would like to try to not leave cards I want to make until the last minute. I am hoping that this is a good start!
Happy Crafting!
